Each year the practice undertakes two Annual Patient Satisfaction Surveys – one at each practice site i.e. the Claypath Medical Centre and the University Health Centre.
The comments from each survey are then discussed with members of the Patient Participation Group. A Patient Survey Action Plan is then developed by the Group for each practice site and progress on achieving actions in the two plans is subsequently monitored and reviewed by the Group.
Claypath Medical Centre survey – February, 2018
The survey commenced on 19th February, 2018, and 270 survey questionnaires were handed out. The questionnaires were handed out by members of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) for patients to complete as they waited for their appointment with a practice clinician.
The responses were analysed and set out in a survey report which was discussed at the Patient Participation Group at its next meeting on 7th June, 2018. A draft action plan was developed at this meeting and finalised as attached:

University Health Centre survey – June, 2018
The survey commenced on 11th June, 2018. 250 survey questionnaires were handed out to patients by reception staff for patients to complete as they waited for their appointment with a practice GP or nurse. The survey took approximately two weeks to complete.
The responses were analysed and are set out in the attached survey report. The report is to be discussed at the next meeting of the Patient Participation Group in September, 2018, when a draft action plan will be developed.
