Research Involvement

Claypath and University Medical Group is proud to be involved in Primary Care Research.

The practice is actively engaged with the NHS National Institute for Health Research and Local Research Centres, and can signpost suitable and willing patients to relevant research studies that  might be of relevance to them.

A copy of our Research Privacy Statement is attached below showing how patient information is used for medical research and to measure the quality of care:-

Please note that any involvement with research is entirely voluntary and on an “opt in” basis.  If you do not wish to be contacted about relevant studies please let Gillian Bevan, General Manager, know so that the practice is aware.  Any decision not to get involved in primary care research will, of course, have no bearing on your usual care.
