Student Pre-Registration
We’re pleased to offer a convenient pre-registration service for students planning to attend Durham University.
By completing your registration form with us before you arrive, we’ll be able to process your registration quickly once you’re here.
If you are currently registered with a UK medical centre (GP practice), you will remain registered with them until you come to Durham. Registration with Claypath Medical Centre will happen automatically on Saturday 26th September 2026 if you complete the pre-registration form below.
If this is your first time registering with a UK medical centre, you can still pre-register using the website below. An NHS number is not required if you do not have one.

Do you take regular medication?
When you register with a new surgery, medications you had on “repeat” at any previous surgery do not automatically carry over to our surgery. This is for safety reasons. Our doctors ultimately take responsibility for any prescription we issue, even if the course was initiated by a doctor elsewhere, so we like to make sure that the medication is right for you.
