Early Closure of E-Consult Services on High-Demand Days
Occasionally, we must close the e-consult service earlier than planned due to high levels of demand. This measure is taken to ensure that every case is reviewed on the same day. When the service is closed, and you follow the link provided below, you will be informed that we are not accepting requests at that time. In such situations, you have the option to either contact the surgery via telephone or visit 111 online. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The eConsult service is only operational on working days to ensure we can provide an end-of-the-next-working-day response and keep the service safe.
We aim to respond to most cases before the end of the working day. Some cases may occasionally incur a slower response.
If you think your query needs an urgent response, call the surgery rather than using an eConsult. If you have an emergency call 999.
